“I can’t say enough about our host, Bob, and this property. If you’re looking for a peaceful slice of heaven, this immaculate log cabin is the place. This is the cleanest rental we’ve ever stayed in and the attention to detail was incredible. The kitchen was super stocked and the furniture was comfortable, we immediately felt at home. “The house was nice and worked for our family. We were able to fish, kayak and swim. There was plenty of outdoor space to play games and spread out. There were plenty of outdoor chairs to use and beach towels as well. The kitchen was very well appointed with dishes and all the utensils that we needed. I was disappointed with the cleanliness. “Our two weeks on the lake were filled with swimming, kayaking, hammock napping and eating. My daughter and I hosted guests and day trippers, almost filling the bunkhouse! “Everyone enjoyed staying here, there were lots of smiles but there were come concerns about the number of lady bugs in the bedrooms. It must have been their time to swarm, as there were a few in many of the rooms, presumably because some of the windows don't close tightly. Again, everyone had a fine time, and the location and the 2 or 3 block walk to town was perfect. It was charming and comfy and the many bedrooms were great. ”

“This is our 3rd time staying here, we love this historic home, it is in very good condition. The home is very clean, well stocked, the layout is very good and the communication with the host is also very good. We love the brook going by. It is close to Smith College where our daughter goes to school. We also enjoy the many other places and things to do in this area.
