"My husband and I loved our weekend stay. It was important to us to find a dog friendly environment so our doodles, Vivian and Fern, could join us. The guesthouse was very private and we felt right at home. Our host, Erin, thought of all amenities including extra dog toys, which I found to be a sweet added touch. All checking in and checkout expectations were clear and helpful. Our stay was clean, comfortable, adorable and we felt safe. The view of Lake Superior was wonderful and loved the fireplace. We definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in the area. Thank you Erin for the lovely weekend getaway."

"The description of this relaxing oasis was accurate and exactly what I was looking for as a two day personal getaway! Very, very simple, warm cabin and outhouse. Don’t come if you’re expecting a fancy little tourist cabin- this is the real deal like we up north enjoy. Everything you need (except food) is there for a simple stay. If you plan to “cook” in the microwave or tiny electric hot plate, bring a few more bits like a pot and mixing bowl or two. (Listing was very clear about what is available and what is not.) Amnicon is a beautiful place, very private, totally silent, and lovely for relaxing and hike or two to Lake Superior. "

"I was looking to distress, unwind, and relax in quite semi off grid place. They came through, it was a short 2 minute walk for parking the car to the cabin. Yet the location of cabin was secluded enough, you felt like you walked 10 minutes into the woods! The cabin was small and cozy, and very nice fireplace that did its job well. The bed was very comfortable, and it was nice to have a little frig to put my food in and a coffee pot for my morning caffeine. I took the trail from lodge to the private beach, it was so worth trudging snow, then came back along river. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed, I will definitely be staying again."
