“I liked the situation of the hotel and the quality of the room which had a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, none of the black mould normally seen. There was also the option of a bath or a powerful shower. My only complaint is that the cooked breakfast was disappointing. A lot of choice, but most components had obviously been prepared hours earlier and were only luke warm, hence only a four star overall rating, because I like a good cooked breakfast!”

“Hotel and Spa staff are excellent. Location in the New Forest is ideal and I regularly recommend Brockenhurst as a good location to base oneself. The hotel is OK but slightly disappointing given it's price point and premium positioning. Room are tired and slightly under equipped, the spa area is a little dated with free access only including the basic pool and steam room/sauna and the breakfast, although offering a good range of options, became rapidly depleted. We had a basic room for ~£225……

“We booked one of the suites with the hot tub. While it was a luxurious experience, the bathrooms needed a bit of renovation and care. You could still hear neighbours and staff cleaning rooms next door, which is annoying if you want to have a nap. Lovely surroundings. Main restaurant ok-ish. I wished they didn’t put so much sugar in all the dishes. Only the dover sole escaped the sugar and was delicious. I think the place is overpriced for the comfort and service, like a lot of places in UK. If……
