“I wanted to get away with very few distractions. The property located off the beaten path was perfect. Extremely cute and I spent a lot of time in the soaker tub. Highly recommend a stay here. I was 20 minutes from downtown shopping in Weatherford. A good number of shops to choose from. The owners were very qick to respond to messages ”

“This place is our go to for a cozy stay! ”

“The house was very clean and the host was super responsive. I gave it a 4 star overall because there was a lot of stuff going on with the electrical. When we would have lights on they would flicker uncontrollably and the fan would start to turn off and on. Not a huge issue, just kinda strange. Other than that the stay was great! ”

“The home has a beautiful view out front and was so clean and beautiful on the inside as well. There is a great winery just down the street that we visited that you could probably walk to. The host is so responsive and kind. Overall we had a great stay and we all would highly recommend this spot. Would be great for hosting gatherings as well!”

“With the exception of the lake levels being very low...this was perfect. Property ownet cant control that. Woukd definitely stay again.”

“If you’re looking for someplace wholesome in the country with clean fresh air and everything you need to feel at-home, this is the place for you. You’ll see cows, hummingbirds, horses, and donkeys here and it’s a lot like returning to a place of simplicity and sanity. I enjoyed getting out of the city and remembering what peace and quiet feels like. We’re purchasing a small ranch home nearby and it was a nice reminder of why.”

“I was so excited to find this home to stay in during a family holiday weekend. My sister lives right around the corner so I was familiar with the rural setting and thrilled that there was a home so close to her rather than having to stay in Decatur. One amenity that we didn’t use but will keep in mind for future visits is that this home is handicap friendly with the exception of a downstairs shower. The first level is all floor, no bumps or awkward transitions and there is a small half bath……

“Such a beautiful home with access to the lake. The lake was very low however, my son was able to take a canoe and get into the lake further out. Has a fantastic area to sit around a campfire and enjoy each other’s company. The kitchen had all wonderful appliances and everything needed for you to make an outstanding meal.
