“Great Hotel the room was good and the bed superb, over the road from the Mimosa Lodge, but same great service and food ”

“The reception was great but the facility is not well-looked after. The rooms were not so clean and the swimming pool was green. The breakfast was below standard and that is being generous. The Milk that was left out for porridge was sour. For the monies paid, I expected more.”

“We had the best time at Kambati as a family we had a gorgeous view from our tent that was very clean it was our first time trying the glamping style and our experience was amazing! The kids enjoyed every minute we played thhe mini golf and the kids swam in the pools with slides and had ice cream cones at the pool the staff is so friendly and the cute animals too! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank you Kambati for your friendly hospitality ”

“Unfortunately power was out in Swellendam during our stay (of course not their fault) but generator was kept on only for short periods of time. Otherwise, beautiful property gardens, pool, and luxurious accommodations.”

“We’ve stayed 3 or 4 times at Excelsior, and, as last visit, had a wonderful time. The setting is amazing, Kirstin who runs it is lovely, very efficient and an amazing cook! James who is maitre d’, is also very personable and helpful. Both of them make sure your stay is top class. There’s a golf buggy you can use to look round the vineyard. The wine is very good indeed, and guests get to drink it free, whether lounging round the beautiful pool or enjoying one of Kirstin’s wonderful……
