“Wonderful b&b in the centre of Stornaway, where we stayed 3 nights. Hosts were amazing and allowed us to amend the stay after a ferry cancellation. Rooms are immaculate, large and well appointed. Really comfy bed, 2 chairs and lovely Harris Tweed firnishings. Full size kettle, with tea, coffee and biscuits. Good shower and lovely hot water. We had full breakfast the first morning. “Aw what a lovely stay we had at the bungalow. Deceptively big and laid out so well for families. Very homely. So equipped to be able to cook and the welcome basket with bread, eggs, butter, milk and weetabix was so welcome as shops aren’t easy to find and have short opening hours! We were in awe of the view and look forward to hopefully returning soon.”

“Everyone should put it on there bucket list. The owner was outstanding, very informative and helpful in all aspects of the trip. I would highly recommend the motorhome option on the Hebrides — but only —if people are comfortable driving a large vehicle on some very tiny Scottish roads. The motorhome was great and drove very nicely, and had everything needed for a wonderful stay. The only weak link will be the drive for him or herself. That should be the main factor on whether they rent the……
