"Liked bathroom set up."

"This was one stop on our road trip from Massachusetts to Texas. I had booked an accessible room, as my husband was in a wheelchair when I booked. However, he's been promoted to crutches, but the accessible room was still helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom mirror had lighting that made me look like a movie star with a flawless complexion - even without my makeup. I wish I could carry that lighting with me everywhere! The breakfast left much to be desired. There were 3 cereal offerings; Cheerios, Fruit Loops, Raisin Bran. My husband was fine with that. But I like a hot breakfast. They had make-your-own pancakes - too much work for me. The only other hot option was omelettes, which were waaaay overdone. They were crispy, and I could not cut mine with the plastic knife. They had something else - rectangular shaped - that may have been a potato of some sort. I didn't try it. However, the star of the day was Kaylee (Kaleigh? Kaylie?) at the front desk. Wish I knew how to spell her name. When I checked in she was welcoming and informative. We checked into our room, and then I went back downstairs to get a wheeled cart so I could take our bags to the room. When she saw me with the cart, she went to the back door (where I had parked) and held the door open for me. She checked back a few minutes later to see if I was ready to go back inside, and held the door open again. She was extremely kind and helpful, and I really appreciated her. Great service."

"The facility, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was very attentive, responsive to our inquiries and respectful. Overall this was a great stay. "

"Overall, I LOVED the property, the friendliness of the staff, amenities (gym, dining options, fire pits, etc.) With that being said, I did noticed the shower door in our room was not cleaned properly and neither was the countertop in the bathroom. I also noticed water leaking around the base of the sink faucets. I only bring this up because at the prices you pay to stay at the Salamander, I expect everything to be exceptional. ALL in ALL those were minor, seeing that my germophobic ways will not allow me to travel without taking or purchasing cleaning products locally. So I was able to clean the shower door and counter myself, which I would have done even if I didn't notice they had not been cleaned properly. I would definitely go back."
