Waste of money!
The entire house was very dirty-dust everywhere, candy stuck on carpet, black bath rugs covered in white pieces of dried disintegrated rug backing, tub knob fell off, tub dirty, no curtains on two bedroom doors, bedding smell and dirty, kitchen cooking ware space, dishes for only 4 people in a house that sleeps 8, towels so thin almost transparent, floors scuffed and dirty, no kitchen table, couch back leg fell off, yard overgrown with large weeds, fire pit furniture old and dirty, nails and large sharp screws in driveway, toilet space between tub and cabinet very narrow and uncomfortable, small room at stair landing dirty and cluttered with empty containers, closets dirty, ping pong table legs bent, old two slice toaster, most kitchen cabinets empty, refrigerator old and really dented everywhere, stove cold and dirty, bedroom windows broken and wouldn’t close tightly, broken kitchen window. Waste of money-would never stay there again-very disappointed!!

Charming Home but with Significant Concerns....
Our stay had both positives and negatives. The home is a charming period-style residence. The beds were comfortable. The host, Eddie, was very nice and helpful, when needed. The VRBO description needs updating. It inaccurately states there are two queen beds in one room, a bunk bed in another, and single queens in the final two rooms. The home has one queen bed in each of the three rooms and a bunk bed in the fourth.Safety is a major concern. The front door's security is inadequate, and the ground-floor windows do not lock properly, with two not locked at all upon arrival. The balcony doors connecting two rooms lack privacy and proper locks. Due to these safety concerns, two members of our group left to stay at a hotel. No refund was offered when this was explained. The kitchen needs a thorough cleaning. The kitchen also lacked sufficient plates, cups, forks, and knives for large parties. The downstairs area needs another air conditioning unit. Despite running the air unit all day, it remained uncomfortably hot during our stay, especially on the first night when the units were not turned on before our arrival. The home was not properly stocked for the number of guests. We had seven bath towels, no hand towels, and no washcloths. There was no hand soap, and the provided soap dispenser was filled with water. Despite a pleasant stay and helpful host, safety issues and proper stocking need attention.

Great Girl’s Getaway
The house was great and perfectly located about 15 minutes walking distance to town. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Eddie was friendly and quick to respond to any questions. We would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone looking. Thanks!

7 adults 2 children. Perfect for visiting Boston, Salem, Tufts graduation and more! Nice outdoor area and the house is absolutely stunning with the original wood carving, and Matsuki style!
