Perfect location

We loved the “walkability” of the area. We walked to breakfast each morning and could walk to the downtown area. Quiet location but not far from the shops and food.

Great location. Would recommend.

Getting into town for meals couldn’t get any easier using the footbridge. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. Very nice being able to leave the car on property because in town parking is hard to find. Only thing I recommend is bringing a case of bottled water as the town water tastes of sulpher. Great stay and great town.

Cozy Home Away From Home

We had a great stay and we’re very happy here! We loved the location with a short walk across the footbridge and a view of the harbor with lobster boats coming in and out with the tide. The house was, bright, warm, cozy, and just what we wanted. We would stay here again.

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

Everything was clean and wonderfully decorated. Very close to grocery stores and a few restaurants....most shops were closed for the winter but the ones that were open were fantastic !! I highly recommend this property.

For the two of us, this was a convenient and comfortable place to spend a week. It's quiet and equipped for an enjoyable stay. Town is just a short walk or drive to restaurants and shops. The house was clean and ready to move in. We'd go back.

The house was nice, and the location was great. You’re seconds from the footbridge with access to dozens of shops and restaurants. Please note, there was no washer or dryer on site (utilities mentioned on vrbo site coin laundry - but there is none on the actual property). Beds were comfortable, but could use a little updated furniture in the living room area. The property had tons of tv channels and cable which was nice.

Comfortable Spot in Boothbay Harbor

The accommodation was clean and comfortable and included a parking spot. The location made the downtown area very walkable. We had a little glitch with the lockbox when we first arrived. But assistance from property management services got us into the property in no time.

Cute little house in Boothbay

This was a cute little house. Visited with my husband and 2 teenagers. The house was clean and a great location. We enjoyed the pedestrian walkway across the bay to main street, even though most stores were closed for the season. I'm sure this is a great place to stay during the busy summer months. However, our stay was in April and Maine can still be cold during that time. I would encourage the owner to add extra blankets and lanterns for future visitors in case there is a power outage or just a really cold night. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here.

Property was exactly as listed. Comfortable bed. We’ll stocked kitchen. Clean. Check in instructions said to use key pad to left of door. In fact, you entered the key code in the door handle itself. When we realized that was the case, we were able to access the property.

Prime location and incredible view!

Overall an excellent location, a beautiful property and a very safe area! Unit was spacious although the furniture could stand to be modernized. Minor concerns: vacasa was always prompt in replying to concerns but never actually fixed anything. TV doesn’t work and is missing needed cables and batteries. Only one AC in the whole apartment and it is in a back room. I had to rig up another one myself using masking tape and a bubble envelope to replace the missing parts. Doesn’t seem like they have a local person to repair things. Other than that, a great unit!

Great location!

Pros: absolutely perfect location!; impeccably clean; delightfully decorated Solid: comfortable furnishings; plenty of dishes, utensils, etc in the kitchen; great views of the sunset across the harbor; well stocked with amenities like shampoo, dish soap, etc. Cons: only one key (with the accompanying risk of locking yourself out…email referenced a backup lockbox but our code didn't open it); wifi is terrible…we gave up and used our phones; bath towels etc are borderline sandpaper Bottom line: Generic accommodations in a great spot. There was zero indication this was part of anyone’s home, etc, but rather simply seems to be a short-term rental property operated by a management company exclusively for that purpose. We would return but there are a lot of comparable options in the area.
