“At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals.……

“We enjoyed staying 4 nights in this peaceful 80s retro house. Comfortable bed, very clean and tidy throughout and just a short walk to the river. Our small dogs were safe mooching in the large fenced garden. We all relaxed and enjoyed the sunshine. Thanks for making us all so welcome.”

“We needed a country break away from the busyness of life. Willuna delivered! My kids require internet and a pool, I wanted them to have a different holiday, we all were happy! Theresa was the perfect host, explaining things on repeat to my ADHD, ASD kids. The animals were beautiful, Tommy was a gentleman, Raymond was a delight and Nala was so sweet. Each of my boys had their favourite animal and the fireplace in the shed made great S’mores on our last night. Wiluna Sanctuary is inspiring and……

“Beautiful outlook to The Lake. Advertised with heated pool, advised it wouldn’t be hot but in fact it was icy!! The kids enjoyed the activities provided eg soccer and pool tables. Table tennis table also, but we ran out of time to make use of that!! Neighbours were great. Overall a fun time was enjoyed”

“Delightful place to stay. There was a little welcome package of some wine and chocolates to greet us. The place was clean and well equipped with more than enough to keep us comfy. There was plenty of room for us and the kids, space for the dogs to run around outside, and a place to keep the boat. A house we’d like to go back to.”
