“Nice house. Long walk to front door for elderly. One bedroom upstairs very nice but warm, not enough countertop space in bathroom. Small shower hard to enter and exit. Kitchen nice and well stocked. Great wraparound porch. Bedrooms downstairs very small, no closet in one. Huge house but space not well utilized .”

“Nice location. House is in a good neighborhood and the marina is just up the road to put your boat in/out. We brought the boat bring to the dock at the house for the weekend. The neighborhood was quiet. The house was mostly clean. The kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets and laundry closet could use a cleaning and organization. The hand soap/dish soap were not refilled for our stay. The beds were good. The landscaping and underside of the porch could use some attention to neaten the place up. The……

“We used this house mainly as a home base for a fishing trip on Smith Mountain Lake. This place was perfect since we could walk right down to the dock on the water and enjoy all the great views. Everything in the house was in good working order, which is always important. The chairs and couches were clean and comfortable. The master bedroom was very spacious and the other bedrooms were more than adequate. All the rooms were clean. Again, for me, everything worked as expected, and the outside……

“We enjoyed staying in this cabin tucked away in the woods. Close drive to Virginia Tech campus yet it was secluded. The cabin was clean, the finishes were high-end and there was a fabulous deck off the back. We will definitely book again when back in Blacksburg!”

“Access for the lake was not good. Would have appreciated steps or, walkway or a railing. My husband is in heart failure an he only got to get in the boat once. Because of the climb. Because we could not use the awning it would have been nice to have an umbrella for the table. The house was beautiful, however it would have been nice to have a TV in each bedroom. There were no dishcloth to wash dishes as the rack in the dishwasher is broken. No trash bags. Hand soap in only the downstairs……
