「We had a great stay! The house is tucked away in the trees with a creek in the back but only 5 minutes from downtown Blowing Rock. There is plenty of space and a great hot tub. Our dogs loved exploring and meeting the friendly neighbor dog. We needed a relaxing weekend getaway and this was the perfect place!」

「This cabin was very clean and beautiful. It has a rustic feel and design with all the amenities of a modern cabin. Tammy, the hostess with the mostess, answered all of my annoying questions very quickly and was most helpful. The only thing that I can say that was just a little less than perfect was the frontage road across the creek that had a lot of traffic and was a little loud if you were out front. Inside, we couldn’t hear anything. Beautiful cabin, you won’t be disappointed!!!!」

Walked to Schaeffer Center 3 nights for Banff Film Festival.As indicated in instructions the driveway is very easy to miss the first time because it is a narrow drive between two buildings. We would stay again but we have family in Boone that we usually stay with. 」

「This is a spacious tastefully decorated home in a super-convenient location. Everything in downtown Boone is walkable if you’re able to handle maybe .4/mile each way. We had a lovely little stay and my wife approved of the property!」

「This trip was a fishing trip for my 13 year old grandson and I. The house was perfect for us, great location, plenty of amenities/dishes/paper towels, very clean. Washer and dryer came in handy, fast wifi. Very pleased with this rental and would definitely stay there again.」

「A lovely, clean and well-cared for cabin in a beautiful setting - our little family truly enjoyed being here. We spent the sunshiny days hiking along the Tanawha trail, out to Hebron Falls (a perfect family ‘playground’), and the short but sweet Green Knob loop. All of these were a a quick and lovely 15’ drive from the cabin.The cabin was well-stocked w firewood and we truly enjoyed a blazing fireplace on the colder nights. The deck and gazebo are extraordinary, and the creek flowing underneath...

「Most of the places we’ve stayed in around Boone have been great. The owners of the Badger’s Den had little touches though that made it more special. There were local pastries awaiting our arrival, the fridge was stocked with waters and sodas and the towels were the thickest, fluffiest I’ve ever used! Communication was clear and immediate and we appreciated our hosts being so helpful! 」

「I hate to give this house such a good review because I fear I’ll never get the house again. This home was amazing. Stayed with my family (me, wife, two kids) visiting our son at APP. The home was pristine clean, well decorated and has anything you need in an amazing location close to APP State, food, shopping etc. I hope to be back soon. Thank you for an amazing weekend!!!」
