The hotel and room were nice. Staff were attentive. I liked the decorations and attention to detail. Most of my review are things that I noticed in relation to traveling with young children and may not apply to everyone.
The pool was small, but clean. They had chairs and it was set up in a relaxing way. I should note, for people with small children who can’t yet swim, there really isn’t a shallow end.
The hotel itself is at the top of a pretty lengthy hill which means having to climb it after going to get dinner or going to the beach. We knew that going in, but felt it was important to mention because it can be challenging for people with mobility issues or with small children.
With that being said, the hotel was within walking distance to the local restaurants, port for the ferry, and beaches. It took about 30 min to get to Zlatni rat (famous beach). The walk was on a well kept, smooth stone walkway under the shade of trees. The walk was very enjoyable, even during extremely hot weather so the length wasn’t an issue.
