The Goose Necks of the San Juan River State Park, Valley of the Gods, Grand Gulch primitive areas are all less than 30 miles away. While exploring the Bears Ears make sure and stop and visit Natural Bridges National Monument, Utah's first National Monument. Chanel your ancient Anasazi by visiting Hovenweep National Monument just a 50 minute drive or the wander Edge of the Cedars Museum in Blanding. Mesa Verde is 1 hour 30 minutes drive away and should be on everyone's bucket list. Of course many of you are river rats and love playing and rafting in the famous San Juan River.
