「Red Bird Cottage is nestled in the small town of Athens, WV. Located not far from I-77 the location was ideal for visiting my son at Concord University. Basic businesses in Athens, Dollar General, Post Office, CVS and a park all within walking distance or a 5 minute drive. Eating establishments limited however Princeton,WV is a quick 15 minute drive. 「We were in town for a funeral all the way from Colorado. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to businesses you may need during your stay or remote enough to enjoy a peaceful getaway. House was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Host was responsive & accommodating. 」

「Beds were super comfortable! After a full day of riding, it was so nice to come back to a hot shower and comfortable bed! Owners go out of their way to make sure you have what you need, or can find it! Pro tip, use the binder on the bar, lots of ideas of places to get things you forgot! Hit the restaurant 0.6 miles down the road. Good food, cheap!」

「Perfect place to stay if you have a large group with a ton of machines and big trucks and trailers. We had 12 Adults in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. And the game room/livingroom/private bedroom addition is perfect for those who don’t want to go to sleep when the others do. Shelby was an awesome host and was super responsive to any of our needs. Definitely coming back again and recommend this place to everyone. Also great location for Outlaw trails and Hatfield systems.」
