Barndominium built 2023 in the heart of Aska, 5 min to dntwn, no steep drives

Adventure get-a-way. Views of Aska Farms, meadow and Stanley Gap mtn. Listen to the babbling creek while enjoying a hammock by the campfire. 2 min to hike/bike trails, Lake Blue Ridge and Toccoa River. 5 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge.

Please note that this property is located on almost 8 acres. The meadow below the barn is listed on hipcamp for camping. There is an exterior full bathroom on the barn that campers will be allowed to access. There are also outdoor showers and a bike wash. Campers will be expected to respect your use of the barn but they do have access to the above mentioned amenities. Please message us with any questions.

Additional amenities: Two canoes on site. Can come outfitted with mountain bikes and/or paddle boards for additional fee. Contact owner through VRBO for information.

Great Stay but know what you are renting
We knew about this property ahead of time and it was what we expected. The house was new and clean on the inside. We were aware of potential campers on the property and loved interacting with them. Things to note.. .only one very small bedroom downstairs with only a full size bed. . Two bathrooms downstairs with showers but one was not operational. Biggest issue with having others on the property is no privacy on the downstairs. No blinds or curtains to block anyone from seeing. The other concern was the furniture in the living space was very uncomfortable. I aldo would have liked the outside living spaces to have been clean and orderly. Back to a positive note the location is great.

What a wonderful experience!!!
My family and I loved everything about this VRBO. Exactly as advertised and I love that it was decorated for Xmas!!! Very easy to get to, close to everything. Very kid and pet friendly, loved all the details and how clean it was. We highly recommend and will be returning.

Fall Retreat
This place was truly a slice of heaven. From the crisp mornings to the cool nights surrounded by beautiful trees and the small creek, everything was perfect. Friend Get a Way
It was really nice. Very close to town. Suggestions: Frost back door window. Have Queen beds for couples instead of just twin beds. There were 3 couples all together in our group. Put a dressing table and mirror in the spare utility room. Ice maker in freezer would be great also. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

This new Barndominium was very cute! We weren't sure what to expect bedroom wise from the description - it has a bedroom downstairs with 1 full bed and a bedroom upstairs with 4 single beds. There is a bed in an open area at the top of the stairs, that may be a full bed. No bathrooms upstairs, 1.5 bathrooms downstairs. Very cozy spot with a warm, welcoming atmosphere! This was perfect for our 2 night stay for a wedding at Aska Farms (3 minutes around the corner).

Fairly new but has drawbacks
1) make it clear on VRBO there are areas infront of the cabin that people can rent to setup tents and may be using tables, fire pit, etc next to the cabin. 2) make it clear there is an external bathroom and external showers the campers may be using attached to the cabin. 3) there are no curtains on the sliding patio door, back door, or front door, so anyone coming to the bathroom or showers can look right into see what your doing. The most private rooms down stairs are the 1 bed room and two bathrooms. Everything else is wide open. 4) upstairs there are 4 single beds, essentially for children, however the windows on the right allow a.perfect view of the outdoor showers and anyone using them."peep show" 5),the outdoor showers have no doors, so if someone is using a shower anyone can walk up or walk by for a full view. 6) the front door is actually hung inside out. Anyone with a few minutes and a screwdriver can tap the hinge pins out and take the door down. Understanding they are glass and can be broken they are still backwards. 7) byotv = bring your own TV account logins, or the entertainment is slim picking at night. 8) seating is slim pickings only 2 chairs that are comfortable. Needs a sofa. Highlights, 1)it is quiet and peaceful 2)It is easy to get to town 3)the owners are responsive if you need anything 4)easy to log on to WiFi

My husband and I stayed in the barndominium for a quick weekend away and it exceeded our expectations. The property was clean, easy to access and had everything you might need. Fantastic Stay
The rental was just as advertised, new construction and modern amenities. A quiet location amongst a beautiful setting. The Hosts were also very helpful. Just a very short ride to Blue Ridge and all the shopping and restaurants.
