“This was a perfect weekend getaway, although we wish we could have stayed longer! It was exactly what we were looking for-very cozy, simple and gorgeous views. “I stayed several days in October. The cabin was cozy, clean and just as described. My ducks loved the pond and the little waterfall. The other cabin was a bit close so next time I will rent both and have my family come up with me. You could hear the noise from the road even though it was not that close nor could you see it. “This is a real log cabin get-away. Surrounded by trees and far from other homes, it is cozy and private. We only used the downstairs but there are two loft spaces upstairs which would be perfect for kids. You do have to bring your own linens and clean when you leave, but that keeps the cost down (since they don't charge an additional cleaning fee like many places do). You can tell it's someone's home which is sweet. We would def go back!”

“My husband and I enjoyed the rest and relaxation in this cozy cottage in a picturesque setting. Location is about 20-30 minute (beautiful!) drive from several cute Catskill towns and Oneonta, where our son was playing baseball. We truly unplugged in this cozy home. Highlight was sitting by a fire enjoying a delicious charcuterie board/wine (go to Good Taste Epicurian Market in Franklin!). Thanks for hosting us!”

“24 hours prior to check in (4 pm), I messaged the host to ask how we check in. No response. We had no trouble locating the property, but once there, we could not get in. The door was locked. There was no key. There was a lock box, but no code was provided. There is no cell reception at the property. We left to message the host for more info. Eventually, the host responded by sending us the address. but no acknowledgement about how to enter the cabin. We returned to the property again around 9 pm……

“Attended 2024 Cooperstown Baseball tournament at the ALLSTAR VILLAGE fields. We were happy to get away from the fields as we wanted both to be 30 mins away from fields but also peace and beauty. This is a great spot for families attending the tournament, about 30 mins away and lots to entertain younger siblings. Host Rena was great with communication and flexible with our baseball schedule and additional guest/pet needs. We would stay here again and would recommend for families attending……

“one bedroom suite was very nice and spacious. The heat and hot water were great. Upstairs occupants could be heard but they were quiet after 10 pm. Access into the apt was easy. Apt needs a deep clean and dusting. The night stand in the bedroom does not reach the bed height. Only 1 tv but we moved it and it worked fine in the bedroom. The queen size bed was very comfortable. Close to supermarket, CVS, restaurants, shops and of course skiing.”
