“The cottage is cute and very clean. It is in a fairly remote area but it is quiet. Anita was very communicative and answered all questions quickly. The access to the highway is not the best - very winding narrow roads. ”

“Perfect spot to relax and unplug, spend your days playing in the creek or fishing, exploring SW Virginia. Your evening activities can be sitting around a fire in the firepit or playing a favorite game. ”

“I loved this place. I’ve stayed at a lot of cabins throughout the Appalachians. This one is very rare in actually being located deep in the woods, providing a ton of privacy and beautiful nature. The cabin itself is on a private driveway and backed up against secluded woods. It’s also decorated very well. We loved the first and second floor balconies allowing you to sit outside and read and relax, not to mention the hammock. I would give the owner feedback more than 5 stars if I could. They left……

“Easy to get to, quiet remote-ish lake locale with full time residents living on same lane. Lake access is accurate - this lake and most residents have many stairs and this one was no exception but owner described this so no surprises there. The Kitchen and main living areas are on separate floors with entrances for each so was not an issue for us- each have access to decks. One of the upstairs rooms has private deck perfect for morning coffee and view of cove. this is not direct access to lake……

“We had 4 adults and a 3 year old and 2 dogs for the week. The house was clean,large kitchen area and living room. We encountered rain each day and the effects of Hurricane Helene. The weather could have been better, but we had fun anyway. I would recommend this home. ”

“I feel the property manager should warn people that there’s nowhere to get any food after 2:30 PM. There is a small grocery store that doesn’t have much. We may do the property itself was very nice. We were very comfortable. I feel you need to put a lamp in the living room so that we don’t have to put up with the glare of the overhead light, you need to use less air freshener I am smell sensitive and it gave me a headache. Thank you for a nice place to stay. ”
