“The lodge was perfect. Spotlessly clean and pretty and everything you could need. However what made our holiday absolutely perfect was the garden the lodge is set in. Stunningly beautiful, magical grounds that you could see from all sides of the lodge. With a folly perfect for an outdoor fire and BBQ. Central to all of the North East and Durham attractions. I have been twice now and can’t wait to go again. Magical!”

“We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together”

“The property was in a great position in the centre of Richmond, yet very quiet. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The cottage has a garage but our car didn’t fit into it. Parking was quite a challenge sometimes,finding somewhere close not on a zoned area.”

“The property is conveniently situated just off the main road in Barnard castle, it is at the end of a dingy looking alleyway with a very tight driveway. Upon arrival, the decoration looked aesthetically pleasing but we soon realised that most aspects of the house were badly designed/ not practical.The house was not cleaned well before we arrived, we had to empty a bin in one of the bedrooms which was filled with stuff left by the previous occupier, we also tried to vacuum as the floors were……

“Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion.”

“Arriving at the Cottage and walking in through the side door we knew we were in for real treat in this immaculate two bed Cottage, nestled in this sleepy village you couldn’t ask for more .
