“We stayed at Hogs Hollow for two nights whilst driving the garden route and we loved our stay.
Our room - no 17 (or rather suite) was stunning. Breathtaking views from our private veranda and a spacious room with living area and large bed, and not to mention a wood burner that was freshly laid each day kept those chilly nights away.

“A wonder surprise to return to a place that has grown into a fabulous stay experience! The Lion Suites are an incredible stay Visited here 10 years ago and did not realize where I was staying! “We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful apartment. It has the perfect location in a nice, quiet residential area that is walking distance to shops/dining and only a few steps to the beach! “We have been following the instagram for a few months before we arrived to SA and were completely sold by the concept.
Arriving to Barringtons was we were definitely not let down. We were checked in and taken to our deluxe room with a patio balcony looking down over the garden. The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious. We ate a late lunch at the bar with a few beers by the fire and returned later for some supper and a night cap. Wonderful place!”

“We had bats living in our roof, apparently knowingly by the owner (they built a house for them on the near cabin and they migrated to ours). We had to go to bed and sleep with constraint scratching and sliding noises, that was terrible.
When we brought it to the attention of the team, they didn’t even bother apologising.

“Our stay at this hotel began promisingly with a comfortable room, friendly staff, and good food. However, this positive experience took a sharp turn when we returned to find our room door wide open, with all our valuables—electronics, passports, clothing—exposed to anyone who walked by. “Das war bisher meine teuerste Unterkunft in Südafrika für einen mittelmäßigen Aufenthalt. Leider hatten die einen Wasserschaden, also war die Dachterrasse nicht nutzbar. Morgens öffnete ich den Vorhang und der Bauarbeiter stand mir gegenüber. Das hat die auch nicht weiter gestört, dass ein Gast da war. Das hat den ganzen Aufenthalt vermiest.
