“Check in was easy. House was very nice. Plenty of space to sleep. Very close to the water!”

“House was exactly as advertised. We loved it. Stocked with plenty of dishes and towels. Fire pit was clean and firewood available.”

“Prior to arriving, the host messaged me with details on getting into the home as well as good places to eat and visit, and where to obtain firewood. Spacious campfire area with seating already available. Home was spacious and clean with all linens provided. I do wish I had researched more prior because it is a dry county, so we had to drive about 40 mins one way to get adult beverages, but also had to get groceries, and there was a grocery store there, so it worked out. Also wish I had requested……

“This is our 2nd year staying and absolutely love the place and location. Elizabethtown is 7 min away with restaurants and shopping. I would sit outside on the swing with my dad and enjoy the view. We saw deer in the pasture the other night! The grill works great! Thank you we definitely enjoyed our stay!!”

“The Redbird Hideaway is a beautiful place to unwind with family. We drank out coffee each morning on the covered porch listening to birds. It was cozy without being crowded and close enough to mammoth cave and lake nolin for us to get some hiking and fishing in during our stay. Highly recommend.”

“Cute little house with great things for kids inside. We didn’t stay long and we were there for Mammoth Cave and loved staying at the house. It is in the middle of nowhere so eating out is very limited and grocery stores are far from the location. The host was great about informing us about all of this beforehand so we could prepare and was great about giving us ideas of things to do in the area. We were fortunate that the Green River ferry was up and running so getting to Mammoth Cave was not……

“It was such a wonderful, relaxing trip. The downstairs master bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and welcoming. It stormed a lot, so the swing was a nice feature and the hot tub was my daughter’s favorite spot. Wonderful stay. The only issue we had was the ferry was closed due to flooding, so we had to drive all the way around which took 45 mins vs. 20. Thank you for having us.”

“We had a baseball tourney in Etown and this was the perfect place to share with another family. It was close To the park and close to town for food and shopping!”

“It was very clean, well decorated and had all the comforts you could want. The host was excellent, very responsive. Our check in date was 3/31 which was Easter. We found 2 bunnies, a card and easter eggs... so amazingly thoughtful. There is also a generator which is great when your about 15 mins from civilization. Great hiking in the area and right behind the house.. There were dog dishes, a gate, which was great for our dog for the porch. Dog leashes, umbrellas, fire starters for the fire pit.……
