“I don't recommend you to stay here. The low rating is not for their staff and service, nor for the cleanliness, but for the old facilities of the house. “The property itself is incredible. The rich history of the land and the grounds themselves hold a welcoming and comforting inviting atmosphere upon arrival. The staff was amazing and acceptally accommodating to all of our numous questions as absurd as they might have been. “Diane was very accommodating, friendly and offered great suggestions of places to go and see. The little touches, chocolates, stocked fridge, and fruit were so appreciated. The house was decorated so fun! Added to our vibe of a weekend in Salem! We’ll be back! ”

“The house has the depth of history, a history of human spirit, the spirit of honor, service, kindness, and human heart to heart connection. My wife and I stayed for three days. We not only enjoyed physical comfort and relaxation, but also felt spiritually enriched as we saw the richly decorated house, heard many inspiring stories about the history of the people lived in the house and experienced the genuine care of the hostess. “Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, ……
