“Note: "Pet Friendly" only extends to dogs under 20 pounds. The park trails along the Potomac were its best feature. They start just a very short walk from the front door. The house worked out very well for us. It was sparsely furnished and some elements were slightly shabby, but it was fine as we were most interested in getting together. It was excellent value for the many bedrooms. Just don't expect a mansion. ”

“We had 14 people stay throughout the weekend. Plenty of room to join the fun or find a quiet space. The views were stunning and kitchen was well appointed. Everyone slept wells so the beds are great. You have a small town about 4 miles away were you can pick up items you may need. Harris Teeter is 12 miles away. Great stay! Vonda ”

“Really nice layout downstairs. Upstairs and main floor a bit dated. No paper towels and spotty internet. Would have loved more bath towels. Overall clean and plenty of space for parking.”

“Enjoyed the delightful setting in the country. Real farmhouse (which means some mobility challenges as there are steps everywhere and uneven floors). Weather kept us from enjoying the pool, which looks refreshing. Watched deer in the expansive setting. Plenty of parking and comfortable bedrooms for 6.”

“Hugh was a wonderful, attentive host during our week-long stay in the DC area. He is extremely responsive and helpful and saw to it that our stay the very best that it could have been. This living space is well-appointed and exceptionally clean, nestled in a quiet neighborhood away from the bustle of downtown -- but all the DC sites are an easy bus/Metro ride away. The wifi is excellent. I work from home, so took my laptop with me so that I could work and participate in Zoom calls and so……
