“The price of this place is amazing and therefore a very good value. There were a few cleaning issues that we noticed, but overall the room was clean. We did have an issue with someone smoking in one of the rooms next to us one night and because the rooms are set up as basically central air situation and not the individual room heating and cooling units that normal hotels have, the smoke from that room came in to our room through the vents. “This place exceeded our expectations. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable, the beach is a real gem and the views are wonderful. We stayed at The Pearl for Christmas 2024 and it was really great. Would strongly suggest for a couple or small family looking for a comfyt get-away on the water close, but not too close, to Charlotte.”

“Enjoyed our stay during the weekend of our son’s wedding. House is in an excellent location for getting around Huntersville. It has great spaces for gathering as well as cozy spaces for a little less mingling. Sons enjoyed the games; air hockey, ping pong, table shuffleboard, and pool. Great outdoor spaces as well which we were able to take advantage of due to the mild November weather. We agreed we’d like to come back to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool in warmer weather. Kitchen worked well……

“We came with a larger group for a concert in town and the location was perfect. We were able to rent a boat and pick up/drop off from the house made it super easy! Plenty of boat towels too. We had 5 couples so having a bathroom for each couple near their room was perfect. We also were able to grill out and have a fire one night to watch a sports game. Overall, the communication from the property management company also made our stay super easy and relaxing. Plus, you get a great sunset……

“House worked out perfectly for our group. The kids got to swim on this Christmas vacation because the owner offered to heat the pool to 95 degrees for a small fee. What a blast they had! He even put up a Christmas tree. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, etc. and the house is large and rambling. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. We came from Boston, Cape Cod, Chicago, Ohio, Michigan, Tacoma and California to spend Christmas with our mother who lives……

“The property is large, yet cozy. It’s perfect for a family getaway and has many amenities to enjoy. Although it was cold (40s), we made a fire outside and took the kayak out onto the lake, which was very enjoyable. The kids loved the small beach area and couldn’t get enough of the swing.
