“Ron and I felt right at home when we arrived. Everything was quaint and relaxing = especially the little deck off the house. We would go out at the end of the day and relax and reflect. It was very private and tuck away just enough to give the feel of being out in wilderness; and once in a while we got to enjoy a deer and sound of coyotes in the distance. ”

“Overall the cottage was nice. I would suggest window shades for front doors and windows because if you are in cottage mid day the direct sun shines right inside the living area. Also the bed is not comfortable, dip in middle and very soft. We enjoyed the hot tub on deck! The location is close to many attractions but unfortunately the lake was low and beaches closed. Boat rentals were scarce and restaurants close early!”

“I stayed in the Treehouse suite for a week in early September. Hosts Vicky and Micky were consummate hosts. The ranch was spacious with delightful critters and Micky was wonderful, taking me on a trail ride and gave me two horse riding lessons, as well as a tour of the bird sanctuary and farm animal encounter. The suite was just big enough for me and my dachshund (who had the time of her life exploring the grounds). It had everything I needed for a rustic country vacation. I only had one issue……

“The backyard of this property is beautiful, highlighting the local ecosystem and terrain. The house itself is gorgeous on the interior, with the living room area being perfect for relaxation and the bedroom having everything needed to unwind.”

“We had a wonderfully quiet relaxing weekend. We were seating on porch and we saw a fox and then about 12 deer. 4 deer hung out and sat and rested. This is a very private cabin. ”
