Ideal home to stay a week while visiting my daughter and new granddaughter. Son from Portland joined us for 3 day weekend. The log cabin transported us to a restful place in mountains, yet minutes away from stores and restaurants. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, privacy for all. Loved how immaculately clean the home was, particularly since my daughter has severe allergies and my granddaughter just started crawling. The living room was perfect for all to gather, and her to crawl and cruise along the couch and coffeetable. Loved the shoe tray by the front entrance indicating for all to remove their shoes as they came in. The office work space upstairs was perfect for my daughter to make calls and do work away from the action. SO appreciated the delicious ground coffee left for us by the host. We enjoyed the neighbors- the ones on the right had a sleepover party for their son on the last day of school with teens playing basketball late into the evening. The ones on the left have a little dog and several young children with sounds of family activities filling the air. My granddaughter was mesmerized by the construction work occuring off the back deck, dining area, and kitchen windows. I was sad to see the lovely pond on the pictures gone and replaced by the housing development in progress. The front yard landscaping is lovely, as are the small grassy areas in the yard for spreading a blanket to watch the birds & relax.Thank you.
