“Cute, up-to-date house, peaceful location, beautiful views. Well supplied kitchen, including sharp knives! Excellent communication with owner – prompt and helpful. Fast internet. Could use more bathroom surface areas; a few more hooks to hang clothes and towels; and an additional umbrella or two outside for shade. My mom, sister, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“This house had the most amazing views and was clean and tidy. It was perfect for us and the dogs. The yard was clean and mowed and provided plenty of room for frisbee play which is part of my german shepherd's job. The kitchen was very adequate for our needs! As expected, the upstairs bedrooms were "historic" and the staircase was steep also "historic". The showers were perfect. We had a great visit and would love to come back here!”

We LOVE the Chesapeake area and have stayed up and down the bay, mostly midway and lower. This area on the upper bay is so close to Philadelphia and, although there are tourists around like us, it doesn't feel touristy unless you go into North East, downtown (which is still worth eating a meal or getting ice cream in that cute little town)! Our stay felt private, and we had……

“We had a great time in the pool, fishing off dock, paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming. The kids (5 under 8) loved playing in the bAsement.”

“The house is cute and clean small house perfect for 9. Comfortable clean linens were provided. Easy to get to. Close to food and easy to get to University of Delaware. Host was easy to get in touch with. The only thing was no TV at all but we enjoyed our time.”

“My husband and I stayed here for a one night stay and it was a great location (15 mins from Baltimore). Quiet neighborhood, the space makes you feel right at home and all the personal little touches really makes you feel welcome. The hosts were very communicative and gave lots of great information for checkin and out. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area!”

“The place was large and bathrooms were mostly clean. Overall the place is pretty dusty, with a thick dust layer on the ceiling fans that unfortunately spread some smelly stuff whenever they're on and shaggy carpets. If those could be cleaned and the towel racks repaired this would've been almost perfect. Parking is out in front. Owner was generous with drinks provided.”
