This hotel is definitely in a strange location. Not only is in a small lane (like a hutong sized lane), the road to the lane has a "no hired car" sign, so some paranoid taxi and DiDI drivers did not want to drive down the street. We walked most of the time to the next street ("XiaoWei Hutong"?) to get our DiDi.
I read somewhere else that this is a great hotel of domestic Chinese travelers, and I have to agree. It's not winning any awards for modern design or new amenities. But it is convenient, and fair priced. Having one big and one small bed was great for my two grown daughter and me.
If you are looking for a centrally located hotel with zero thrills, this is it. if you want a "7 star" hotel experience, look elsewhere.
