The gate @ Beechworth

The Gatehouse is a significant heritage listed building set among the Mayday Hills gardens in Beechworth. It is a fine example of a two storey Italianate architectural design built in the 1860s. The Gatehouse is located within a picturesque and extensive parkland of mature exotic and native trees and is the first building located on the beautiful oak lined driveway at the entrance to Mayday Hills.

Great value group accommodation in beautiful Beechworth, north-east Victoria

Accommodation for up to 18 guests in 6 guest rooms that feature either single, double or queen beds. Facilities feature a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry, living room with Austar, enclosed outdoor area and secure storage for bicycles and other personal equipment. The Gatehouse also has off-street parking for guests.

The tariff for The Gatehouse is $110 per room per night with a minimum of 2 rooms.

Relax and enjoy your stay with onsite facilities. Visitors can stroll the heritage gardens, play tennis on the nearby courts or football and cricket on the adjacent oval. The George Kerferd Hotel with its restaurant and wine bar is located only 200 metres away in the Mayday Hills Village. The Gatehouse is conveniently located only a short walk to town and its many shops and cafes.

Wonderful venue for a larger group!

The Gate House
We had an amazing long weekend in the beautiful historic Gate House. A wonderful accommodation for large groups with plenty of amenities. The house has enough space that you are not on top of each other. The bedrooms are cosy, the kitchen, lounge and outdoors are fantastic. Family get together to celebrate a milestone birthday. The property was perfect for our large group of two families. Seven of us stayed for mums 70th long weekend. Lovely home with a great history and plenty of beds! Warm and cosy for our 4 degree nights. Short walk from town but we decided to shop at the great stores and eat in at night.
