“Cabin was perfectly located for a ski weekend with family ”

“We had a great time sharing this home for a few days to ski at Crystal Mountain. The location is about a 15 minute drive to the hill. There are restaurants in nearby Frankfort and a great breakfast spot in Beulah. We were happy to find a few open restuarants in the winter!The home is spacious and we easily had 2 families in this space. “The cabin is in the jungle by the lake, and the air is very fresh and quiet. The room is very comfortable to live in, especially the sofa and bed have a strong sense of wrapping, which is very soft and comfortable. Cooking can be done in the room, and the homeowner also has some seasonings with complete tools. It's worth mentioning that I didn't drive, I walked there. When I asked the landlord to borrow a bicycle, she readily agreed and quickly parked it outside my house. Before leaving, I asked……

“Only 2 people can eat at the kitchen island, and the bunk beds are not in a separate room. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the fire pit, star gazing, fall colors and hiking.”

“Visiting family for the holiday, but with 2 dogs and a toddler, our own space is a must. This place has all the amenities we needed and more! Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, cutting boards, knives, etc. everything needed to prepare your own meals. There's also a washer and dryer which is nice to have in case of any wardrobe emergencies (toddler). The sectional couch has an attached pullout ottoman that converts it into a huge couch/bed hybrid, and there is a big flat screen TV - awesome……

“One bdrm had a queen, one a king and one a bunk bed with 2 larger than twin / smaller than double beds. The queen and king rooms had 2 tiny 'tables' for suitcases, purses, phones, etc. The bunk bed room and none; so the 75- and 78-year olds had all their belongings that couldn't hand in the closet on the floor. Also, ladder to the top bunk had narrow metal rungs which were painful to climb (she solved that by leaving her shoes on). We also had ONE very mature 10-year-old girl who we had to list……

“Loved the property but there are not 3 bedrooms in the cabin as advertised. There are 2 bedrooms plus a hideaway couch in the living room.”

“This little place was absolutely wonderful. The house is in a quite wooded area, very cozy and well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful, even guided me through how to use the boat. It’s a great place to stay and I can’t wait to come back!”

“the building was built in the 1930s yes its old . what a beautiful house. great porch great kitchen with shiplap walls and ceiling. very functional everything was there frig microwave toaster oven , nice bedrooms shower worked great . great yard firepit with chairs car parking on site .fantastic view of the lake. easy access to town and restaurants in walking distance . we were there to fish. great access to the lake. overall we liked it very much. hope to stay again next year.”

“Very cool house in a quiet area with a magnificent view and beach. The house is a woodsy surrounding but the view from the deck, main room and kitchen seating island is amazing. Kitchen has everything you need to support cooking all your meals. The house worked well for us, just two people and we had a third person with us for three nights. Beach was quiet and lovely for long walks. Communication with owner was great through the app and he was responsive. Thank you!”

“This cottage, adjacent to a family home, was perfect for our weekend away. Owners were on top of everything and added homey touches like fresh flowers. Only drawback is that both bedroom doors are glass-fronted, which is not great for light or privacy. That's my only complaint, and that's very small, but might be a dealbreaker for some.”
