Bearing in mind it was probably the cheapest available but it was convenient to where we were visiting and why we chose it. But at the same time being the cheapest should not mean that there would be mould on the carpet around the fridge, efflorescence on the wall with wet carpet, a split system that has not been cleaned in quite some time and a bathroom with1 x 40W globe above the mirror. The hot water took up to several minutes to come through but it was hot. A microwave and toaster would have been nice, there is a plastic kettle, some tea bags and coffee sachets and EHT milk. Luckily there are several surf clubs within 5-10 minute drive which is where we had our breakfasts except the last day when it was raining, then we used the local shopping centre for a coffee and muffin. Hard to comment on the staff, only saw a few when we checked in and 1 bloke on the 3rd or 4th morning asking if we wanted clean towels. The place is having some serious renovations which is why other than Saturday and Sunday I was woken at around 6am or a little later by heavy machinery, power tools and workmen yelling at or to each other. Fortunately we only needed it as a place to sleep, we were out from breakfast time until late evening, on returning the 1st two nights there was an outside light, after that it was pitch dark and getting to the room was hard. Despite my wife having asthma and I have a respiratory condition we did not have any adverse health issues but others could have.
