「Beautiful new property, well appointed and modern. Also very accessable as we were travelling with someone in our party that uses a walker. Hotel accommodated with the room assigned to her near elevators. Food was very good whatever we ordered. Our favourite was the roof top restaurant for dinner and bar. Great sunset views and reasonably priced menu with great selections.」

「Good hotel with service to match at a price as is everything in Croatia. A 7 day cruise would be cheaper and a lot more exciting, especially when you take the car parking fees into consideration. But the Valamar Meteor is probably one of the best in Makarske and would recommend it.」

「Its was our 4th stay and it’s a beautiful place but….. The hotel is under new management and the change isn’t for better. Start charging 8€ per day parking 15€ per bed on the beach. The pool needs a good clean and surroundings as well it’s just little things but it shouldn’t be there in 5star hotel. The staff in Pink cricket restaurant and pool are are not the best. Very slow and forgetful. No pool service like before. Alcoholic drinks like Aperol,Hugo, cocktails are cheated. Not much alcohol...

「Difficult check in and out. Wanted pool towels and had to go back to check in and put deposit which is understandable but once again had to go to main desk and wait. They could have told us when we checked in. Also, had to call for them to lower temperature in room. They did but it was still hot.」

「前台服務人員很熱情，在我找不到停車位時，還出來跟我說車子可以停哪邊，並事先提供給我房卡可以刷停車的閘門。 早餐很豐盛，還有義大利起司跟整個蜂巢狀的蜂蜜，也能單點歐姆蛋不多收費用 鄰近海灘，吃完早餐就可以到海灘玩水~也可以租借陽傘&躺椅在那邊度過一個優閒的上午 附近也有登山步道，可惜這次沒有時間過去。 下次有機會來一樣會入住該飯店~ 太棒的體驗了」

「What a surprise, been vacationing in Croatia many times but this was unexpectedly the best yet. Perfect accommodation for a family of 5. First impression was that everything was so impeccable from arrival to end. Everything was so clean even the shared bathrooms at the pool area. Quiet but kid friendly atmosphere and nicest staffing. Special thanks to Ivona, Mladen, Luka and the chefs. Would not choose a 5* hotel over this ever again! Keep up the great work! 」
