“We had a lovely time staying Christine and Shawn’s home. The amenities within the community are great. Hawley is a 15 minute drive away and has a great small town feel with loads of antique shops. There are some good hikes near by and the lake is beautiful. We had trouble trying to fit everything into one weekend. The house is clean and cozy and Shawn and Christine send you loads of info and recommendations making the trip easy and enjoyable ”

“This house was perfect for a quick weekend! There is a small beach by the lake that’s nice for a walk/morning coffee. It’s not a touristy area at all so it’s quiet and peaceful. I would say if you’re looking to be isolated it’s not necessarily for you, as it is in a community of houses, but if that doesn’t bother you it’s definitely still a great location! “I was extremely pleased when we got to the property and saw how wonderful it was. Everything was pristine and clean. I was shocked at all the amenities in the kitchen, including griddles extra coffee pots utensils pans everything you really need, down to the strainers. This was a really wonderful stay. The indoor pool was phenomenal heated so nicely. The babies loved it and the kids stayed in the pool so much of the time even though the weather outside wasn’t cooperating we had the game room as……

“Host Gary met us at check-in and started a fire, which was welcome on a chilly day. Nice views of lake and near Bethel Woods Center for Arts and Woodstock museum. Cabin had whimsical touches, however, housekeeping may not have been ready for season start. Spider and web behind door, dusty shelves, rumpled sheets. Skylight in one bedroom needs a shade, and blinds in that bedroom didn't close for us.”
