“My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and picked this property because it looked suitable for where we wanted to be from a location standpoint. The room was nice and I think we both enjoyed the historic aspect of the building. The property manager was exceptional in regards to responses while we were there. “What a perfect little getaway to Maine. Donna and Dave are the most welcoming hosts. You will feel at home staying here. They have a comfy bed, kayaks to use, hot tub and a bbq. The lake is beautiful and we got to see our very own sunrise from it. It’s about 45 minutes to Acadia but an easy straight ride and local for all that you need. We will come again. “Overall, it was great! Few little things.. we got in late and we weren't for sure where to go, very dark and no lights on. Little confusing once you get in there because there is a house and 2 buildings on the one property. Had to ask if there was a key to check in or code. But they got back to me very quick every time I had a question. The shower floor is very creaky.. not sure if not enough base under shower. But not that we know where it is and stuff I would def stay there again!”

“The property itself was a little hard to find, as I was not also expecting it to be attached to someone elses living courters; but with that being said it was not a bad stay. The property inside and out was beautiful for what it is, and was surrounded by woods so you couldn't see the road, so it gives you a cozy feel without being super far away from everything. We got to see a lot of cool birds at the bird feeders outside through the window which was a nice touch I appreciated.”

“This was a great little place! 4 bedrooms, a fire pit, lots of dishes available. The general location is pretty central, with easy access to highways and the mall. The street is not the easiest to access, unfortunately. The floors were pretty squeaky, and the front downstairs mattress was not the most comfortable.
