"It is a delightful cottage on a stud farm. Very peaceful. Access to small town nearby for shopping. We visited the Dingle Peninsula and other places on the west coast though they were quite far away. Thoroughly recommend it for the peace and quiet and beautiful srroundings"

"A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though."

"It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great."

"Nice hotel With lovely staff, but "luxury suites" we're lacking the luxury. Bed was large but there was a gap between even though was supposed to be a king bed and other side was really worn (sank in the middle where people have been sleeping). Not many tv channels but use of Netflix. I would definitely take a room at the hotel next time if coming back. Suite was spacious and had a fridge and a microwave so handy for someone with small children but you need to cross a road to get to the hotel....

"My husband and I used this as our base for exploring Southern Ireland and it was perfect. The hosts were super sweet and a pleasure to talk with. They even helped us figure out our charging converters, called up to one of the local spots for us to get dinner and offered plenty of suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite visits. Great little spot for the two of us!"

My family did get sick during our visit and David was on it! I followed him i to town to get medicine for my son and husband. "There is not much going on in Fermoy, but it is possible to drive to some major attractions such as the national park if you don’t mind a bit of a drive. The house is very tastefully decorated and well equipped, but it is very small and the beds are listed as queens. If you are coming from America, please note this means full. Not a lot of room for suitcases, but the listing clearly stated how small it was. Overall acute little place, but not really in a destination spot."
