“Beautiful setting at the end of the peninsula! Great hot breakfast in the big event space. Friendly helpful staff. The lobby has a cool mid century modern vibe with a large round sectional and fire place in the center. We met some new friends while having drinks around the fire. ”

“From the outside, it looks like a typical roadside motel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and beautifully updated but the location is everything. We had a partial view of the lake and got to sleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The location can’t be beat. The staff were warm and friendly. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back”

“We chose to stay at Maxwelton Braes Lodge ecause of its location near friends and because of the adjacent golf course. We had a comfortable stay in a clean room, but were disappointed that the previous Thyme Restaurant was no ,onger operating in the lodge. There is a limited menu restaurant operation that is open part of the week, but never for breakfast. We were also disappointed that the lodge is not located to allow walking or hiiking to other Baileys Harbor points of interest or dining. The……
