"Hotel staff at the desk or around cleaning were very friendly and the rooms and lobby were clean. The restaurant staff are not as friendly or interactive with guests. We found this to be the norm of most of Paradise Island, very little emotion, communication or smiles for travellers. Just a job to do -restaurant staff just tolerate travellers and will not care about soy or gluten allergy substitutions for meals. The resort was great, wish good service staff were friendlier."

"Its my 2nd time visiting the Riu at Paradise Island and it doesn't disappoint. The staff in all the restaurants are amazing, hardworking, humble, attentive and caring. The entertainment this year is by far the best I've seen in all the Riu properties I've ever stayed. "
