“This is such a lovely place to stay! We visited in the winter, hoping to see the northern lights, and the location was perfect—peaceful and away from the city, yet not too far. The cabin is incredibly cozy, with warm wood floors that feel absolutely wonderful during the cold winter months. The place was very clean and cozy, and the owner was extremely helpful and supportive. We’d love to come back and stay here in the summer to experience Alaska in a different season!”

We are from Florida and it was very cold when we were there, but even with the thermostat at the upper end of the instructed settings, we found the house to be drafty. There were instructions not to use the wood stove. We suspect that if the wood stove had been available we would have been toasty warm. “We had an amazing time at this wonderful property. The cabin fit two adult couples very well and we had everything we needed. The hosts were very responsive throughout. “We had a great stay in the Aurora cabin! We kept plenty warm with the Toyo stove, and had everything in the cabin for a cozy and comfortable stay. Cross country skiing right from the cabin door, beautiful stargazing, and amazing winter views. We opted for a sled dog experience while staying in the cabin and it was my favorite part of our trip. Definitely recommend. Would stay here again!! ”
