“This was the perfect place to stay for hiking in Ricketts Glen State Park. It's remote -- not a lot of options for dining out but you're practically in the park and the area is spectacularly beautiful”

“The property was pretty much as described, very rustic, there is a walk to the waterfall, which wasn’t bad but parts are a little steep so wear decent shoes. We didn’t have the best weather so we spent most of our stay inside. House was clean, could use a few little things like dish towels and pot holders! beds were comfortable, showers were fine. I would definitely suggest a screen door so you can get some nice air in, it was a little humid when we went and that would have made all the……

“Welcoming and friendly. Home is clean, well stocked, and property is very well maintained. Check in was clear and easy, house rules very fair and clear. Country setting in the mountains with clean crisp air. Not a far drive from restaurants and stores- about 20 minutes away . We were there for a graduation and enjoyed the convenience of a home away from home. Hostess is warm and friendly and attentive. “The house was better than we expected. I thought it was a house just off the road but wasn't expecting it to be 1.4 miles into the woods. But that was the BEST part for us as a family. We love the woods and the adventures of the back country roads vs. normal roads. Now for the house, it was very comfortable and welcoming. Had everything we needed besides food. We enjoyed the back deck every morning for coffee just listening to nature. Nice family cookouts for dinner and campfires in the……

“This place served its purpose and was very cost-efficient for two couples going to the lantern festival and golfing in the Poconos for the weekend. Home was a little outdated and dirty (small bugs, dust, etc) but everything was functioning. There is no A/C so it was a little warm. Kitchen cookware was outdated and no spices, so make sure you bring salt and pepper if you are planning to cook. Shower handle was loose but worked and upstairs sink is slow to drain.”
