“very cute and comfortable”

“What a unique and wonderful place to stay. Our room was spacious, airy and bright. The staff is great, particularly Diego, who went out of his way to be helpful in a number of ways. Great guy - personable, professional and sincere. The house is close to many restaurants. Easily walkable. The only downside is that parking can be a bit difficult, but not a game changer. I’d stay there again. ”

“The best location in Ponta Delgada with the famous Mercado Market right in front of you and the shops and restaurants all nearby just a few minutes walkikg distance. Its also very quiet for sleeping even though you are right in the centre on a main road. The rooms are large and very comfortable beds and good dining area. The kitchen though is really small and it was good nobody else was using it when I had to cook my meals. Not enough room in the kitchen and little disorganized ”

“I was confused about how the key code entry worked, and the office sent someone to help us right away. From then on, things went fine. The main reason we picked them was their involvement in science and research, and a tour we received was beyond our expectations. It was arranged on last minute request and made our brief stay the highlight of our 18 days in the islands.”

“A quant and unique find close enough to the city to get there hassle free but tucked away enough to feel connected to the beautiful natural surroundings (it’s located along water). Additional qualities of note: clean, cozy, and reasonably priced with really kind hosts who are knowledgeable about the island :) Book it! You won’t regret it”

“The air was very damp and smelled like mold. There was indeed some black mold on the shower curtain and on the window curtain. Everything felt slightly damp in the room including our pillows. It was therefore extremely uncomfortable and hard to sleep. We woke up in the morning feeling nausea presumably because of the disgusting air. There was also a door to the outside that rattled loudly every time a gust of wind blew which also made it hard to sleep. Overall I would recommend finding different……

“Host was incredibly friendly and gracious. We Loved this property. Breakfast was perfect! Freshly made to order eggs along with cheeses, meat bread etc. it was literally a two minute drive to the airport but we could not hear any planes coming and going. We enjoyed the pool very much! Highly Recommend”

“Grosses Zimmer, super Bett, dafür die Dusche unendlich klein, aber es ging. Mitten in der Stadt, top gelegen. Wir wurden nett begrüsst, wenn auch etwas Sprachbarriere ohne Portugiesisch bzw. ohne Englisch. Alles sehr unkompliziert.”
