The hotel section (there's a connected restaurant across the road) was tidy, modern, warm and well decorated. We had booked a 'mountain view' room, but were given a lake view room at no extra cost, and which saved us an extra flight of stairs to carry bags. The manager, who greeted us, was very friendly, helpful, and even insisted on helping us with one of our bags going upstairs.
We ate a couple of times in the restaurant opposite that's associated with the hotel. Food was excellent both times. Breakfast was generally good, although there are a lot of flies in the area, and they were all over the cold meat & cheese that wasn't covered up.
The only real hiccups were that the automated lights didn't always come on when going up the stairs, and the shower enclosure was a poor design that simply leaked water through approx 1cm gaps between door and enclosure.
