“Family members gathered from Northern and Southern California for a celebration weekend. Home description was accurate and the reservation process and check in were trouble-free. Manager's answer to our messages was prompt. The home is well maintained, very clean, and quite spacious, but the best part for us was sitting on the porch overlooking the large, beautiful garden. The house feels somewhat isolated (which we liked) and we had total privacy. On another note, we were impressed by the wine……

“Such a lovely and charming home! Very well maintained, clean, and cozy. My husband and I, plus our two teens, spent Thanksgiving weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very quiet and friendly neighborhood with convenient market and restaurants nearby. Well-appointed kitchen, very clean throughout, comfy living room and beds. Lots of game, and we particularly enjoyed the bikes! If it had been warmer, we would have enjoyed the boogie boards, too. Host was warm and responsive, and a……

“Can’t beat the location, love that area. Large home, lots of space. We traveled with families that had small kids and bigger ones, it was great for all of us. Host was slow in responding sometimes, and then super responsive other times. Didn’t always understand our needs, but overall, we were happy and would stay again. ”

“House is much bigger than I thought! Tons of room for myself and my kids! Pretty much everything you would need in the kitchen! Perfect location! ”

“The house i located on top of a hill and you can see the valley and stars at night. Absolutely gorgeous! Also, it was centrally located for all the things we wanted to do. The house was superb in every way. There were four of us and we each had plenty of room. We love to cook and the kitchen had all of the essentials; however, a few more wine glasses would've been helpful. ;)”

“My wife and I, along with two friends, had a great stay in Avila. The house was all the photos showed except, as has been noted in other reviews, the two stuffed chairs in the living room really do need to be replaced.”

“We loved that we could walk the beach, the pier, restaurants and shops. It was a fantastic place to take our dogs to. We went for the Corgi festival. The home has a small backyard area that we and the dogs loved. There was a doggie door which our dogs are very accustomed to. That was very handy! We would most definitely stay there again.”
