“ This was a perfect location for two old guys from separate parts of the country to meet up and go to our alma mater at Northern Michigan University. The house/cottage is lovely and serene. We initially had some problems with the app that the customer Person resolved, and we were able to get in touch with our host, who was great. I highly recommend this to those who value fresh air, located right on Lake Superior ”

“This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area.”

“Lovely, peaceful setting, very relaxing. Close to attractions in Munising. Comfortable. Must read owners' description very literally. I.e., ""stove top" means range top, no oven; "TV" means tv and VCR, no cable or broadcast access. (We did enjoy some of the old VHS and DVDs provided). Better directions to house would have helped especially after dark. We'd rent this location again.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this very comfortable, private cottage in the woods. The cabin was well stocked with everything to make for an enjoyable stay to relax, cook, and spend time outdoors. “Had a great experience and is a beautiful location. It’s just remote enough for privacy but close enough to multiple activities and sightseeing spots. Well maintained, clean, and easy communication with the owners. We even saw fresh water jellyfish in the lake; don’t worry they don’t stink and are only the size of a quarter, completely harmless. Campfires by the lake at night were a perfect way to end the day. ”
