We checked into our room later in the evening, the lobby was very dark and dingy. Smelled musty and needs a major update. Most of the lobby lights were off including the TV's in the common area. Not very welcome or comfort feeling at all. The pool was gross, you couldn't see the bottom step in the pool and it had a green tint to it. The ice machine was filthy and busted up so we didn't use it. Upon getting to our room the AC barely worked and it smelled musty and like old cigarettes. The walls were disgusting, the curtains had tears in them. We also observed another couple, upon our check in, requesting another room due to AC issues and the smell. In the middle of the night, about 3am, our AC stopped working completely. Our family woke up sweating our butts off. Moving our family and belongings in the middle of the night didn't seem logical so we toughed it out for a few more hours and showered and checked out. Upon checkout we brought all of our issues to the desk clerk, who informed us because we booked through Expedia that we needed to contact them to resolve the issue but assured us she would help resolve the issue. While on the road we contacted expedia, who then contacted the property, which then the lady at the front desk said she wouldn't refund our stay but offered a free stay during a weekday. As if we would want to stay here ever again. Don't waste your money, for over a hundred dollars you can stay at a much nicer hotel.
