I did not stay at this hotel: Quality Inn Jefferson at I-85. A travel assistant at Expedia booked the hotel for me on Oct 3 2024, then he called the hotel and someone told him the hotel was overbooked. I asked the Expedia man agent to cancel the reservation. He said he did cancel it. He transferred me to another agent who dropped my call. I asked about 5-6 times the agents to cancel this hotel and book another one. A third Expedia agent also called this hotel and she was told this Jefferson hotel had rooms. I asked her to check if it was close to Augusta GA. Then this third Expedia agent asked the hotel how far it was from Augusta GA and the clerk said it was five hours away. I told the third Expedia agent to cancel the hotel, give me a refund, and book another hotel. The agent booked another hotel for the same night, but did not cancel the Jefferson hotel. On Oct 5 2024 when I finally had internet connection, I saw that the hotel was still booked. A fourth Expedia agent talked to the hotel and asked for a refund but was told to wait another day for the manager to come in. The story is still going on. I lost 5 hours on the phone, I am very disappointed with Expedia.
