“A year ago my dad was in hospice nearby the hotel and died much quicker than we anticipated. I had just booked two additional nights and when the staff on duty found out, they let me cancel the reservation with no penalty so that I could take my mother home where she was more comfortable. Due to that kindness, whenever I’m in Athens, SpringHill Suites is where I’ll stay. ”

“The room was nice with comfortable beds and plenty of space to move around. There was a nice breakfast the two mornings we were there, with eggs and sausage along with all the other usual choices for a continental breakfast. We had just one issue with our room which was the little refridgerator that was in the room. It was not working properly, being in a continous defrost mode, the water dripping down from the little freezer area and overflowing out onto the carpeted floor which was already wet……
