“Nice view but some simple amenities have been overlooked. Adding lamps that have charging outlets next to the bed would have been a hugely convenient amenity. I, like many people, use my phone’s alarm clock but having to search the room and move the bed from the wall to plug my phone in was a pain. Overall nice stay but it always the little things when you’re already not in the comforts of your own home.”

“The photos of the view aren't accurate. I was looking for a water view, and photos on VRBO show this unit has a view of the river, but instead there is a view of a big apartment building that was being constructed. When I called VRBO, they said that this issue falls into what they deem a "minor" issue. I consider it false advertising. They refused to return our and we had no choice but to stay there. We felt immersed in the interesting and diverse history of Astoria’s people and the surrounding natural elements of the Columbia River. Flat is well kept and comfortable, pictures are accurate. It is an older building so you will hear people in flat above. There is a multistory building being constructed across the street so day time was noisy but we were……
