“We were a family group of 12 meeting up to celebrate a special birthday. The house which was very spacious was beautifully furnished and the large kitchen equipped with everything we needed. “Myself and my partner stayed here for a friends wedding. It was perfect - we got the family room just so we had a bit more space. “Accommodation is located centrally and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is a lovely space to come together with family. Add £13 per day for parking as the place has not its own parking. The place is clean but I gave it a 3 for cleaning because there were empty food boxes behind the desk in the main bedroom. Towels were clean but old . Communication was great and we will definitely go back again but will ask them to pay a little more……

“We had a great weekend at Oakdene it’s a quaint , quirky cottage in lovely surroundings . Waking up in the morning looking out over the hills and forest is fab.
