“This was a good stay, I would love to return as it was a great location for ATV trail access, and a cozy place to come back to for the night. I would recommend a good deep cleaning in this cabin, as there is a cleaning fee within the rate but many dead bugs found in areas of the cabin, and what looked to be mold growing between a couple of the windows. Also the sheets looked like they had not been changed from previous visitors but we brought blankets to throw on over so not a big deal.……

“A group of 4 adults were staying here to attend a fundraiser in the area. Easy check in and check out process. The house has amazing views of the lake! One bathroom was challenging but overall we managed. The bottom bunk bed mattress was very comfortable! The beds in the time could be updated but manageable. We enjoyed our stay.”

“The guest house is something out of a hgtv dream. The heated floors were amazing on a chilly day. The property is quiet and secluded. This is the perfect quiet place to stay when doing nothing or heading to Duluth or other northern activities. I don't really have a reason to come back to MN, but I want to invent one to come back to this little slice of heaven!”

“We enjoyed using this space as our home base for our kayaking trip. Lots of outdoor space to plan & pack. Inside had everything we needed and felt comfortable after hard day outdoors. It was great to have the space of a whole house vs a hotel room or tiny cabin. We were first to turn on heat and that brought out a LOT of ladybug beetles in the house. But we were warm and enjoyed the space. Only complaint was beds - not comfortable with plastic covering on mattress. Made for noisy & uncomfortable……
