The cabin was cozy and sufficient, but the housekeeping needs improvement. We stayed for about a week, and upon arrival, we had to ask for clean bed sheets, as there was a vast amount of hair and debris in the bed. That paired with cobwebs, bugs, and a mouse on the last night, but I did expect some of this as it is a rural cabin.
The staff did take care of our needs on their time, which began about 8:30am (things like extra towels or toilet paper and replenishing wood, etc.).
There are no dining facilites on site, but some decent restaurants down the road. Like any tourist destination, be prepared to spend a bit extra on food. The nearest mainline grocery and dining was about 45 minutes away. We used the fireplace to assist in cooking our own food, as there is only a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker in the cabin.
All in all, I'd recommend and return, however, I do hope cleanliness improves.
